Heleigh is a freelance writer and botanist with a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania who frequently writes about eco-conscious living, environmentally friendly gardening, and green building. Published in both print and online magazines, including Environmental News Network, Natural Family Online, Organic Producer, and Suburban Home & Garden Resource Guide, Heleigh lives in Vermont where she grows herbs, frequents farmer’s markets, and teaches her children about the natural world.

Born and raised in Austria and an avid New Yorker since 1993, Peter has always maintained a keen interest in wholesome living and in preserving and improving the health of the only inhabitable planet known.
